Postpartum Healing: Process Your Birth Story, Move, and Breathe

WITH MELISSA MING FOYNES, PHD & ALEXANDRA DESIATO

    August 20th, 2022, 9:30 – 12:00 and/or November 12th, 2022, 9:30 -12:00

    DURHAM, NC

Join Melissa Ming Foynes, PhD, trauma and perinatal therapist, perinatal Ayurvedic specialist, and mindfulness meditation & yoga instructor, and Alexandra DeSiato, postpartum yoga instructor, for a workshop of birth story processing, restorative movement, rest, and mindfulness. During our time together, we’ll share, move, breathe, and connect with other parents who are similarly processing their or their loved one’s labor and birth experience. Whatever your birth experience-expected or unexpected, whatever your feelings about it, however postpartum you are (2 weeks to 2,000 weeks), this is the workshop for you.

Please register here. This workshop is $75, but it is always offered on a sliding-scale basis and no one will be turned away – please message us if you would like financial support in attending. Once you register, we will email you in advance of the workshop with a few suggestions about what to bring. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact Alexandra at wholemamayoga@gmail.com.

You may choose to register for either date, but it’s also fine to attend both dates. Sometimes processing and being in community with others can feel better in more doses! We welcome you at either or both.

This workshop takes place in person at 5015 Southpark Drive, Suite 250, Durham NC 27713.
